Free vs Premium

Main → drawer → Your subscriptions

StoDo’s free version is a working inventory app, not a trial: goods, operations, stock-taking, reports, barcode scanning, Excel import and export, printing, and backups all work without paying. Premium removes the limits where a growing business meets them.

LimitThe app’s words
Prices and moneyThe Use Prices switch is off without a subscription — no price fields, amounts, or payment states.
2 stores”Without a subscription you can add only 2 stores”.
10 customers and 10 suppliers”Without a subscription you can add only 10 entities”.
Custom fieldsCreating custom fields asks for a subscription.
Print watermarkPrinted documents carry a small “Printed with” watermark; Remove watermark is a Premium option in print templates.
Cloud auto-backup (StoDo Simple)“For automatic backups you need a subscription” — manual file backups stay free.

One subscription covering the lot — in the app’s words: “All premium features of the app (Prices, Unlimited Customers and Suppliers, Unlimited Stores, Custom Fields)”. Two ways to get it:

  • Premium — a subscription billed through Google Play.
  • Lifetime Premium — “Pay Once - Use Forever”: “With one-time purchase you will be able to use all advanced features forever.”

The available plans and current prices are on the paywall the app shows — the reliable source, since plans vary over time.

  • Purchased earlier under the name Complete Pro? Same product — the tier was renamed to Premium; existing purchases keep working.
  • StoDo Simple and StoDo Online are separate apps with separate purchases — a subscription in one doesn’t cover the other.
  • In StoDo Online, the owner’s subscription serves the whole database. Invited users who hit a gated feature see “Access to this function requires a subscription. Contact the database owner …” — the owner buys, everyone works.
  • Online plans also carry user seats: the seats from your purchased plans add up, and adding a user beyond them leads to the subscription screen.
  • Your data never depends on paying: if a subscription lapses, entered data stays — the limits simply apply again.
