The short answers, with the full story one link away.

The free version works for real daily use — the paid part is a set of limits and extras, laid out in Free vs Premium. In short: prices, more than 2 stores, more than 10 customers/suppliers, custom fields, watermark-free printing.

I don’t see prices — how do I enter them?

Section titled “I don’t see prices — how do I enter them?”

Prices are off until Use Prices is on in Settings → Prices — it’s part of Premium. In StoDo Online there’s a second gate: your profile must grant price View — otherwise the database owner has hidden them from your role on purpose.

Settings → General → Select language — the app’s language is independent of the phone’s, and changing it restarts the app.

How do I hide items that are out of stock?

Section titled “How do I hide items that are out of stock?”

Why does the app refuse an outgoing operation?

Section titled “Why does the app refuse an outgoing operation?”

Most likely the quantity would go below zero — the app says so: “Operation can result in negative quantity in stock for …. Action cancelled!”. Either correct the stock (a stock-taking fixes reality) or allow negative stock in Item fields (the on Quantity).

Switch the scanner engine in Settings → Barcode scanner — the troubleshooting guide has the full checklist.
