Export to Excel
Main → Goods → → Export to Excel
Your data is yours to take: the goods list, operations, suppliers and customers, and every report export to **Excel (.xls, .xlsx) or CSV (*.csv) — for analysis, for a colleague, or as a human-readable copy alongside your backups.
-
Open the goods list the way you want it exported: the file follows the sorting on screen, and exporting from inside a group warns you — “This will export only the current group!” — so start from the root for the full catalog.
-
Tap → Export to Excel. The Select option sheet asks what to do with the file: Open it, Print it (portrait or landscape), Share it to any app, or Save it where you choose. A toast confirms: “Export … finished successfully!”
-
The columns are your Excel settings mapping — the same one imports read, so an exported file is re-importable as is. Excel files can carry item photos too (the Image column and Additional Images, scaled to the Exported image size (pixels)); CSV is text only.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- The export–import pair is the app’s mass editor: export, change prices or descriptions in a spreadsheet, and import back — matching rows update instead of duplicating.
- Operations export too: multi-select operations in the journal and export the selection, or export a single operation’s lines from inside it. Reports have their own Export to Excel / Export to PDF buttons, and suppliers and customers export from their lists.
- Switching between Excel and CSV (and the CSV separator) happens in Settings → Excel Import and Export.
- In StoDo Online, exporting is a per-area profile permission — Export to Excel toggles exist for goods, each operation type, reports, and contacts.
- An Excel file is a readable copy, not a backup: restoring the app comes from backups, which carry everything exactly.
